2023

Choral training day led by Federico Trindade, dedicated to exploring the sounds, harmony, and rhythms of Brazilian Popular Music, incorporating elements of body percussion, vocal improvisation, and alternative choral direction (VOPA – Vocal Painting). Concluding with a public performance.

International “Música do Círculo” Teacher Training dedicated to deepening collective music facilitation practices based on voice, body, play, and improvisation. The program was designed for musicians, teachers, and facilitators interested in developing inclusive pedagogical tools for collaborative music-making. Held in Italy with the involvement of the international Música do Círculo network.

2025

Immersive evening dedicated to the practice of circlesinging led by David Eskenazy, a leading figure in vocal improvisation pedagogy in France. A collective experience of real-time musical creation based on listening and spontaneous composition, open to singers, musicians, and enthusiasts interested in deepening the artistic and musical dimension of singing in the circle.

Residential workshop dedicated to the art of collaborative vocal improvisation, led by Chiara Cortez and Giulia Matteucci, aimed at individual artistic growth and the consolidation of a contemporary collective language, while valuing the musical and relational dimensions of vocal improvisation.

Training residency dedicated to body music, improvisation, and Brazilian popular cultural expressions. Led by Pedro Consorte (founder of Instituto Música do Círculo) and Charles Raszl (former member of the renowned group Barbatuques), the program integrated voice, body, rhythm, and musical play into an immersive collective creation experience.

National festival dedicated to collective vocal improvisation, promoted by MuVola APS in collaboration with Collettivo CantInCerchio and Spazio NU. The initiative brings together artists, facilitators, and communities from different Italian regions in a structured program of workshops and spaces for practice and experimentation.

Training program led by Anna Albertarelli and Giulia Matteucci that integrates collaborative vocal improvisation and participatory choreography within a shared research process. Through gradual work on gesture, voice, and space, participants develop a collective expressive grammar capable of generating physical and vocal scores in real time. Open to individuals with or without prior experience, the project emphasizes the inclusive dimension of choral practice, promoting listening, presence, and community-building through the dialogue between body and song.

2025 - 2026

Workshop pathway led by Chiara Cortez dedicated to the exploration of songs from around the world and guided choral improvisation practices. The project integrates the learning of global repertoires, active listening, and collective music-making through circlesinging and the gesture-based conducting method Ritmo con Segni. Terre di Voci promotes an accessible and inclusive practice, fostering individual musical growth and the development of a shared choral language, with a focus on active participation and the appreciation of cultural diversity.

Ongoing workshops to date

Training program led by Giulia Matteucci, dedicated to deepening vocal improvisation and exploring the relationship between voice, body, and communication. Designed for voice professionals, musicians, educators, and anyone wishing to explore their sonic language in a conscious and creative way, the course integrates practices of Collaborative Vocal Improvisation and Circlesinging. Through work on harmony, rhythm, listening, and the creation of spontaneous vocal ensembles, the program supports the development of personal musicality, presence, and relational dynamics, fostering an inclusive practice accessible to different levels of experience.
